Katie and Blair’s Wedding Flowers for Buckland’s Beach, East Auckland Wedding.
Katie came to me wanting rustic themed wedding flowers for a late summer wedding in March 2017.
She liked the loose, natural look of an unstructured bridal bouquet with a pretty soft pastel colour palette of ivory, blush pink and pale blue.
My Approach was to take her mood boards and ideas and custom design a collection of beautiful wedding flowers with lots of trailing grey eucalyptus foliage, stunning open pink and ivory roses, spray roses, freesias and lisianthus with gypsophilia to add softness and texture.
Keeping with the rustic theme, all the bouquets and buttonholes were wrapped in burlap and twine.
Her bridal bouquet had soft pale pink shades with just a hint of blue while her bridesmaid had darker pink tones with more blue.
For the reception at Sunset Restaurant, she chose mason jars filled with small bunches of flowers in the same colour palette.
The cake flowers included a cake topper and three smaller floral items for each of the three layers.
“Sandra is an incredibly talented florist.
She did all of my flowers for my wedding on the 31st March. She listened to all my needs and got everything spot on!
I couldn’t have been more happy with the outcome of the gorgeous flowers. Also at a reasonable price too! I would highly recommend Sandra to my friends and family.
I will be definitely be using her in the future”
