Miriama and Josh’s wedding flowers for a marque wedding in Manukau, East Auckland.
Miriama contacted me to help with designing and creating her dream wedding flowers for a late summer wedding on 3 March 2018.
Miriama loved a natural loose handtied style for her bridal bouquet and chose a moody colour palette of deep red, burgundy, navy and grey.
She was planning on using succulents on the guest tables and wanted to incorporate this little beauties into all the bouquets.
My Approach was to take her ideas and custom design a collection of beautiful wedding flowers with grey foliage, stunning red and blush roses with touches of navy Viburnum berries and grey round succulents to add texture.
Her beautiful bridal bouquet had a mixture of deep red, rich burgundy and pretty blush flowers , grey succulents with soft grey eucalyptus and lacy dusty millar foliage .
The bridesmaids bouquets included a mixture of shades of red, blush and white flowers with soft grey foliage which perfectly complemented their gorgeous red dresses.
Each bouquet was wrapped with trailing satin ribbons and had a lovely personalized charm attached to each with the girl’s initials on.
The flower girl carried a gold terrarium of pretty arrangement of flowers in the wedding colour palette.
“It was an amazing pleasure to work with Sandra at Harbour Rose Florist. She made the whole experience a smooth one. Her expertise and knowledge was really great for someone that knows very little about flowers. I could not recommend a better florist for the big day!“
