Courtney and Ben’s wedding flowers for an outdoor wedding at the Nocton Woolshed, Clevedon. This lovely couple were looking for colourful rustic themed flowers for their late summer wedding on 13th April 2019.
Our Approach :
We took her ideas and custom designed a collection of beautiful wedding flowers with loads of texture, foliage, and a colourful mix of different in- season flowers.
Therefore her bridal bouquet included beautiful pale peach dahlias , colourful roses, mixed garden flowers and grey foliage .
Ben wore a matching buttonhole with a beautiful white rose , blue tweedia and greenery.
Following the rustic theme, we created a lush corner of mixed flowers and foliage on the wooden arch for the ceremony.
To welcome the guests to the ceremony area, we designed 2 large floral arrangements seated on rustic wine barrels. Masses of colourful garden flowers with trailing greenery created a striking entrance to the aisle way .
In addition to the larger aisle flowers , we also placed mason jars of mixed flower posies onto wooden logs.
The reception was inside the shed , and the guest tables each had a central mixed foliage garland with single roses adding pops of colour as finishing touches.
Likewise, two medium sized colourful floral arrangements in metal buckets were used on either side of the shed entrance.
The head table’s foliage garland ran along the length of the table cascading down at the ends. Suspended above the bridal table, I created a hanging installation of mixed foliage to complement the rustic theme.
Three hoops of foliage and flowers were suspended from the roof beams above the guest tables creating floral chandeliers.
“Sandra is so easy to work with, she replies quickly and takes her work seriously. From the very beginning, she understood what I wanted for my wedding and created the look I was after. I can’t recommend her enough, she was one of my favourite vendors to work with. Thank you so much Sandra!”
